Putin Takes Position on Gaza and Iran’s Nuclear Program
The President of Russia emphasized the necessity of establishing an autonomous Palestinian state to achieve stability in the region.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today that Moscow is ready to support peaceful efforts to halt the bloodshed in Gaza. He expressed hope that the Trump plan could improve the situation in the Middle East.
Putin stressed that creating an independent Palestinian state is a fundamental condition for long-term stability in the Middle East.
Regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear programme, he said that this issue cannot be resolved without negotiation. He added that he discussed this topic during talks with Rafael Grossi and noted that Russia senses Iran’s insistence on finding an acceptable solution for its nuclear file.
