Al-Hayyeh: We have exerted all efforts to stop the war; grateful to Iran
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera, khalil al-Hayya, head of hamas’s negotiation team, emphasized that Gaza’s residents stood firm like a mountain against an unprecedented war. on the anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, he paid tribute to the martyrs of this operation and prominent leaders such as Haniyeh, Al-Arouri, al-Sinwar, and al-Daif.
He added that the resistance heroes thwarted all plans by the Zionist enemy. Despite Israel’s habitual violations of agreements, Hamas continued negotiations wiht high duty regarding Trump’s plan. He announced reaching a ceasefire agreement and an end to the war in Gaza alongside launching a permanent halt to hostilities. This deal includes allowing humanitarian aid entry through Rafah crossing and prisoner exchanges. Some 250 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment will be released along with 1,700 others.
Al-Hayya noted they received guarantees from mediators and the U.S. government that the war has completely ended.He expressed gratitude for all parties supporting their struggle-from Yemen to Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran-and stressed that no effort was spared in stopping Gaza’s war.
