Al-Hayyeh: We have exerted all efforts to stop the war; grateful to Iran

Hamas chief negotiator praises⁤ Gaza residents’ unprecedented resilience against the Israeli regime and ⁣expresses ⁢gratitude to resistance-supporting countries, including Iran.

According to the ⁤English ⁤section of ⁣ webangah News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera, khalil al-Hayya, head of hamas’s negotiation team, emphasized that ​Gaza’s residents stood ⁣firm like ​a mountain against an unprecedented war. on the anniversary ‌of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, he paid⁢ tribute to the martyrs of this⁣ operation ​and prominent leaders such as Haniyeh, Al-Arouri, al-Sinwar, and al-Daif.

He added that ‌the ‌resistance‌ heroes ⁤thwarted all plans by the Zionist enemy. Despite Israel’s habitual violations of ⁣agreements, Hamas continued negotiations wiht​ high ‍duty ⁢regarding Trump’s plan. He announced reaching a ceasefire⁢ agreement and an end ⁣to ⁢the⁣ war in Gaza alongside launching a permanent halt to hostilities. This deal includes allowing humanitarian aid entry ‍through Rafah crossing and prisoner exchanges.​ Some 250 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment‌ will be released along with 1,700 others.

Al-Hayya noted they received guarantees from mediators ⁢and ⁤the U.S. government that​ the war ⁢has completely⁢ ended.He expressed gratitude for‌ all parties supporting their struggle-from Yemen to Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran-and ‍stressed that no effort was spared in stopping Gaza’s war.
