Hamas Movement: No One Dares Disarm the Palestinian People
Mousa Abu Marzouk, a senior member of Hamas, said they are cooperating with mediators to remove obstacles and secure the release of Palestinian leaders imprisoned in Israeli jails, according to webangah News Agency citing Al Jazeera.
In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Abu Marzouk identified Marwan Barghouti, Ahmed Saadat, and Abbas al-Sayyid as prominent Palestinian leaders whose release is being withheld by the occupiers.
He stated that although the occupier regime has retreated to a red line,it still controls 53% of the Gaza Strip. “We will not accept the continued presence of occupiers in their current positions,” he warned.Continuing Israeli presence at the Philadelphia axis isolates Gaza internally. The withdrawal lines drawn by Israel are inaccurate and appear arbitrary.
The senior hamas official stressed that Palestinians need genuine support against what he described as genocidal policies by the occupiers. He dismissed Netanyahu’s statements about destroying Hamas’s military capabilities as intended for domestic consumption only. “No one dares to take away the weapons of the Palestinian people,” he affirmed-highlighting these arms as a lawful and legitimate option under conditions of occupation.
