Massive Jordanian Protest Backs Palestinian Resistance

These mass protests took place after Friday prayers in Amman. They occurred following months during which all demonstrations had been banned in Jordan.

The ⁢rallies followed Hamas’s acceptance of a peace agreement in Gaza and the end⁤ of hostilities in the ⁤region.

The protesters ⁣celebrated Hamas’s‍ agreement to secure⁤ the release of Palestinian prisoners.
