Hundreds of Palestinian Prisoners Transferred from Israeli Prisons under Trump Plan
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Rosy al-Yawm via Mehr News Agency, Israeli prison authorities began transferring hundreds of Palestinian detainees last night.These prisoners are scheduled to be released as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal and the Trump plan.
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that these Palestinian prisoners were moved from five different prisons inside the occupied territories to a designated location from which they will be freed.
The report states that 250 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and another 1,700 detainees arrested after Operation Al-Aqsa storm in Gaza will be released. Some Palestinian media outlets, quoting informed sources, indicated that the prisoner exchange with Israel will take place on Monday morning without any formal ceremony.
