20 More Palestinians Martyred, 135 Bodies Recovered from Rubble
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, medical sources confirmed that within the last 24 hours, 155 bodies of martyrs have been transferred to hospitals in Gaza Strip. Among them, 135 were pulled from beneath debris.
The sources added that 19 people were killed yesterday due to gunfire and attacks by occupying forces,while one civilian died from previous injuries.
According to the report, 16 civilians lost their lives when a home belonging to the Ghaboun family in southern Gaza City was bombed. Another civilian was killed in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City, and two others died during an attack by occupying forces south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip.
On Thursday, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Hamas and Israel reached an agreement on the first phase of a ceasefire plan and prisoner exchange after four days of indirect talks between both parties in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The initial phase of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and israel went into effect at 12:00 noon Jerusalem time on Friday.
Following the ceasefire, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians poured into Gaza City to return home despite widespread destruction across residential areas.
meanwhile, Gaza’s Ministry of Interior declared that forces are being deployed to restore order as civil defense teams launched extensive operations searching for missing persons and retrieving bodies of martyrs.
Since October 8, 2023, with full U.S. support, Israel has carried out a brutal genocide against Gaza lasting two years. This offensive has resulted in at least 21,672 Palestinians killed and 169,961 wounded, most being women and children. War-induced famine caused by fighting and blockade has claimed another 460 Palestinian lives,including 154 children.
