Widespread Destruction in Khan Younis; Hundreds of Thousands of Tons of Waste and Debris Accumulated

The Khan Younis Municipality reported that 85 percent of Khan Younis has been​ devastated following attacks by the israeli regime.

Currently, approximately 400,000 tons of rubble are⁣ scattered across khan Younis streets and⁢ need to be cleared.

The report highlights that 300 kilometers of water networks and ⁢75 percent of the city’s sewage system have been destroyed.

In addition, ‍over 350,000​ tons of accumulated waste must be removed from Khan Younis.

With ⁣the ceasefire in Gaza and Israeli military withdrawal from occupied areas, the full extent of destruction caused by these aggressions has ⁢become increasingly visible.
