Fire Breaks Out in Hospital in Syria
Syrian sources report a fire in the storage room for nursing staff’s documents and medical supplies at the Children’s Hospital in Damascus.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and SANA, Syrian media reported a fire at the Children’s Hospital in Damascus.
The sources stated that the fire broke out on the hospital’s fifth floor due to an electrical short circuit.
Diana Al-Asmar, director of the hospital, confirmed that the blaze occured in a storage room containing nursing staff’s documents and medical supplies.
She added that no damage was sustained by incubator devices, which were promptly evacuated following the fire.
Diana Al-Asmar emphasized that the fire has been extinguished.
