International Gaza Reconstruction Conference to Be Held in Egypt
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Egypt’s presidential office reported that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced his country will host an international conference aimed at improving conditions and facilitating early reconstruction in Gaza.
The Egyptian presidency statement said that during a meeting with his Cypriot counterpart, el-Sisi discussed recent developments in the Middle East-particularly the Gaza ceasefire-and emphasized the importance of fully implementing this agreement.
The Egyptian president also stressed ending hostilities,securing prisoner releases,ensuring aid access,and launching Gaza’s reconstruction. He called for deploying international forces within Gaza as a necessary measure.
