Netanyahu Booed in Tel Aviv During Witkoff’s Visit + Video
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Steve Whitcraft, the U.S. special envoy for Middle East affairs, alongside Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, and Ivanka Trump, his daughter, attended a demonstration organized by families of Israeli captives in Tel Aviv.
Video footage shows that as Whitcraft thanked the Prime Minister of Israel for achieving a ceasefire, Israeli protesters immediately booed and whistled at Netanyahu.
The protesters’ chants against Netanyahu forced Whitcraft to pause his speech momentarily.
“Tonight we celebrate a moment many thought impossible,” Whitcraft said in his address. “Tonight we celebrate peace born not from politics but from courage.”
He added: “We thank the leaders of Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, and the UAE for their efforts to reach this moment. arab partners have proven that building a better future for the region is achievable. President Trump has shown that peace in the Middle East is not impossible.”
Whitcraft’s claim-that “Netanyahu and his team have devoted their lives to serving Israel” and that “Netanyahu’s commitment to Israel’s security is unwavering”-was met with negative reactions and whistles from protesters.
The Trump envoy estimated approximately 100,000 people participated in the Tel Aviv demonstration.
