Medvedev: We Will Strictly Implement the Strategic Partnership Treaty with North Korea
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing RIA Novosti via Mehr News Agency, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, stated in a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un that President Putin places great importance on strengthening ties between Russia and North Korea.
Medvedev added that Moscow respects Kim Jong Un’s decisions regarding the growth of bilateral relations. He highlighted the bravery of North Korean soldiers in defending Russian territory and assisting in the liberation of the Kursk region, noting that thier valor will always be remembered.
He further emphasized that relations between Russia and North Korea rest on a solid legal foundation through the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty. Russia intends to strictly adhere to this treaty.
