Prisoner Exchange: From Resistance’s Ethics to Israeli Enemy’s Brutality + Video
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency,Quds Al-Akhbariya compared the brutal behavior of Israeli prison guards towards Palestinian prisoners-who are set to be released under a prisoner exchange deal-with the conduct of Palestinian resistance forces toward israeli captives.
Quds Al-Akhbariya reported on the ethical treatment shown by Palestinian resistance groups in their interactions with prisoners, contrasting it with the cruelty and inhumane abuse inflicted by Israeli forces on Palestinian detainees.
Israeli media outlets published videos showing violent acts by Israeli guards against several Palestinian prisoners inside Naqab prison before their release. The footage sparked widespread outrage.
The video shows a group of blindfolded and handcuffed Palestinian prisoners forced to move in a line with bowed heads as Israeli soldiers subject them to various forms of violence and humiliation.
Palestinian sources described this footage as distressing evidence of occupier brutality aimed at undermining the dignity of prisoners due for release.
Amjad Al-Najjar,head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, stated that some Palestinians seen in these scenes were preparing for transfer to Gaza under the terms of the prisoner swap agreement. He called this behavior deeply insulting just before their release.
the Palestinian Prisoner Defense Center said this video further exposes fascist policies by Israeli occupiers and blatant violations of international law.
This comes as informed sources recently told Al Jazeera that Israel warned families of Palestinians scheduled for release not to hold celebrations or show joy over freeing their loved ones. This reveals how occupied authorities fear even witnessing Palestinians’ resilient spirit and happiness.
Twelve Israeli captives are expected to be freed tomorrow morning, Monday. In return, 1,700 Palestinians arrested after Operation Al-Aqsa storm will be released alongside dozens held with life sentences.
