Resistance Delegation Meets Red Cross to Discuss Release of Israeli Prisoners
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, a senior Hamas official told Al Jazeera that extensive contacts with mediators are ongoing to refine the list of Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release. Despite Israeli opposition, these mediators continue their efforts to finalize the prisoner list.
The source stated that resistance groups emphasize their commitment to releasing Israeli prisoners within an agreed timeline. They have identified both the number of live captives adn their detention sites across various points in Gaza to facilitate their release.
The Hamas official also confirmed that a resistance delegation will meet with the Red Cross tonight to determine the process for freeing Israeli prisoners. This operation is planned along three separate axes within Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Media Office reported that complex obstacles are still preventing an official announcement of the prisoner exchange list, which includes detainees from Gaza as well as women and children.
The Palestinian body stressed its continued around-the-clock efforts to overcome these challenges and complete necessary procedures.Once consultations conclude and the final list is confirmed down to every name,all details concerning this agreement will be made public immediately.
