Lukashenko Reveals Why Trump Won’t Provide Ukraine with Tomahawks
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency which quotes Sputnik News Agency, Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus, said on Sunday that he does not beleive the United States will deliver Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
In an interview with Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin on this matter, Lukashenko explained: “Donald Trump has a particular approach when dealing with sensitive issues. Sometimes he escalates tensions; other times he retreats. Thus,I do not think these missiles will be supplied.”
Lukashenko added: “For every action, there is a countermeasure, and the US president fully understands this. So I believe it will not come to that. The main reason for the slow progress in negotiations over resolving the Ukraine conflict is Volodymyr Zelensky’s stance. Zelensky should make decisions about peace talks more quickly; Russia is advancing on the front lines. Some western neighbors of Ukraine are already prepared to annex parts of its territory.”
