Israeli Captives’ Release Scheduled
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen Network, Hebrew-language media report that the prisoner release process is expected to begin at 8 a.m. on Monday.
The sources added that technical and security coordination is underway to implement the first phase of the prisoner exchange.
Meanwhile, a senior Hamas official emphasized hours earlier that a resistance delegation will meet with the Red Cross tonight to establish mechanisms for releasing Israeli captives, which will take place across three different locations in Gaza.
On another front, the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Media Office announced that complex obstacles have delayed officially listing prisoners scheduled for release under this agreement-including Gaza detainees, women, and children.
This Palestinian body stressed their ongoing round-the-clock efforts to overcome these challenges and complete necessary procedures so thay can announce the prisoners’ names along with all details related to this deal as soon as consultations conclude and the final list is confirmed down to every individual name.
