Trump Declares Gaza War Over
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, U.S. President donald Trump, after leaving the United States for Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt-where indirect talks between Israeli officials and Palestinian group representatives are taking place-stated: “This will be a historic moment, and everyone is waiting for it.”
He added that the war in Gaza has ended and that a ceasefire agreement will hold.
trump further said, “For the first time, everyone has agreed on one word: peace.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s military radio reported Trump’s message to the Knesset saying: “Today we stand on the brink of one of history’s greatest diplomatic achievements and will not cease efforts until full and lasting peace is achieved.”
In his message, without acknowledging that many regional instabilities stem from U.S. interventionist policies in the Middle east, Trump claimed: “Together we will create a future filled with peace and prosperity for Tel Aviv and the region.”
