Al-Qassam Releases Names of Israeli Prisoners, Prompting Tel Aviv’s Response
The Al-Qassam Brigades have released the names of Israeli prisoners slated for release.
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, reported that the Al-Qassam Brigades announced their decision to release 20 live Israeli prisoners as part of a prisoner exchange agreement.
The Brigades later published the names of these Israeli detainees.
Meanwhile, Israel Defense Forces Radio confirmed that the published list matches the one held by Tel Aviv.
It is noted that the first phase of the prisoner exchange between Hamas and Israel will take place soon.
