Political Analyst: Prisoner Exchange Confirms Zionists’ Crushing Defeat
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Palestinian Shihab News Agency, Ibrahim al-Madhoun, a writer and political analyst, responded to the recent prisoner exchange and ceasefire deal in Gaza: “The ongoing prisoner exchange agreement today proves that the Zionist occupiers have suffered a profound defeat. Since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, all their expected calculations have been upended.”
The Arabic-speaking analyst added, “Today is a memorable day in history.” He noted that during the first days of the war, Israelis declared they woudl accept no negotiations. They claimed their prisoners would only be freed through military force-bombing, killing, destruction, and pressure on Gaza’s population. However, after two years of conflict and all their massacres and atrocities, they are now compelled to sign an agreement with Hamas. This is as resistance groups persevered steadfastly and proved that the will of the Palestinian people is stronger than the Zionist military machine. Prisoners are freed only through determination and resilience-not surrender or coercion.”
