Russian Senior Official Assassination Plot Foiled
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has thwarted a terrorist attack in Moscow,according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing reports from TASS.
Authorities say the plot was orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. The FSB press office confirmed that four suspects connected to the conspiracy have been detained, including one who is a citizen of a Central Asian country.
According to Russian security officials, the attack was organized in coordination with ISIS leaders and aimed at a densely populated area in moscow.Experts estimate that the improvised explosive device could have caused destruction within a 70-meter radius.
Investigations reveal that one suspect was recruited by Saidakbar Gulumov,an ISIS member wanted by Russian and Uzbek authorities.Gulumov allegedly provided funding, target intelligence, and materials necessary for constructing the bomb.
