Knesset Members Give Standing Ovation to Trump + Video
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and times of Israel, members of the Israeli parliament (Knesset) welcomed U.S.President Donald Trump wiht a two-and-a-half-minute standing ovation upon his arrival.
As Trump stood behind the podium, the Knesset’s orchestra played in his honor while he was warmly applauded.
The report also noted that some Knesset members praised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, shouting his nickname “Bibi.”
Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and envoy; Marco Rubio, Secretary of State; pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defence; Mike Huckabee, U.S. Ambassador to the occupied territories; and other senior Washington officials were also applauded by knesset members.
trump traveled to the occupied territories to participate in a ceasefire ceremony in Gaza and witness a prisoner exchange. Upon arrival, he stated that everyone welcomes and is pleased with the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
The Gaza ceasefire deal involves Hamas releasing all captured Israeli soldiers-both alive and deceased-in exchange for hundreds of Palestinians imprisoned in Tel Aviv jails.
