Sudan Issues Stark Warning to Leave Sharm El-Sheikh if Netanyahu Attends

Iraqi Prime Minister warns Egypt adn the United ⁢States that he will leave the‌ Sharm El-Sheikh peace summit if Benjamin Netanyahu participates.

According to the English ⁢section⁤ of webangah News ⁤Agency, citing Iraq’s ⁢WAAR news agency via Mehr News Agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani informed Egypt and the United States on Monday that he woudl walk out of the Sharm El-Sheikh peace summit if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attends.

A⁣ senior source revealed that no official invitation has been extended to Netanyahu by Egypt. Instead, ⁢former‌ U.S. President Donald Trump has ‌made efforts to secure Netanyahu’s participation through various contacts aiming to guarantee his attendance.

The⁤ source added that al-Sudani⁢ made‍ it clear to both Egypt and‍ the U.S. that iraq’s withdrawal from the summit ⁤in case of Netanyahu’s ⁢presence is a firm stance.

He also ‌noted ⁢that other ‍participants share Iraq’s position, which ultimately thwarted‌ Trump’s attempts to⁣ bring Netanyahu to ⁣the summit.

The source‌ emphasized that this message from Iraq goes beyond ⁣its immediate meaning, demonstrating Baghdad’s⁤ sovereignty in decision-making and‌ its influence in regional affairs.

It is worth noting that Benjamin Netanyahu has already declared he will not attend ⁣the Sharm el-sheikh meeting.
