Trump at Knesset: Today Is a Golden Day for the Middle East!
according to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed during his speech in the Israeli parliament (Knesset) that “today is a historic day for the future of the Middle East. Twenty prisoners will return home to their families today.”
He stated, “Today marks a golden era for Israel and the Middle East and also America. I thank all Arab-Muslim countries that united and pressured Hamas to free the captives.”
The president also highlighted his close relationship with jared Kushner, his son-in-law: “My relationship with Jared Kushner is very important because he achieved a very special accomplishment and brought us to the Abraham Accords.”
He added, “I expect Marco Rubio will be remembered in history as one of the greatest U.S. secretaries of state.”
Trump asserted, “After bringing back Israeli prisoners, we ended eight wars in eight months; we have provided Israel with many of our best weapons.”
He further claimed that “the painful nightmare for Israelis and Palestinians has come to an end.”
The president also referenced the Ukraine war, stating: “I expected ending the Ukraine war would be easy and that a meeting between Putin and Vitkof would last 15 minutes-but after 30 minutes they called back saying it wasn’t over yet. That meeting lasted five hours.”
Returning to Iran’s nuclear program,Trump reiterated claims that “Iran was two months or less away from building a nuclear bomb” and further asserted,”We destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities with 14 bombs.”
This claim contrasts Tehran’s repeated emphasis on its peaceful nuclear program and its strong rejection of U.S. and Western allegations.
Trump concluded by thanking Arab and Islamic countries for their commitment to Gaza’s reconstruction.
