Tomahawk Shipments to Ukraine Intensify; Kremlin Issues Stark Warning
The English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn TASS, reports that Dmitry Peskov, kremlin spokesperson, has issued a serious warning regarding the potential transfer of long-range Tomahawk missiles from the United States to Ukraine.
According to Peskov, launching Tomahawk missiles requires direct involvement of American personnel. Thus, delivering these missiles to Kyiv could have significant consequences.
In response to a question about Dmitry Medvedev’s recent social media statement-where he said such transfers could “end badly for everyone”-Peskov emphasized that operating these advanced missiles inevitably requires the presence of US specialists.he added this is an obvious fact and noted that Medvedev’s post pointed specifically to this issue.
Peskov further stressed: “Any expert following this matter fully understands it.”
Earlier, medvedev wrote on Max, Russia’s national messenger app, that sending Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv would benefit no one. He highlighted the impossibility of distinguishing whether a launched Tomahawk missile carries a nuclear or conventional warhead-a point reiterated multiple times. According to him, “it is indeed not Kyiv firing these weapons but the United States.”
