Trump Leaves Occupied Territories for Sharm El-Sheikh
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump left the occupied territories today, Monday, en route to egypt to participate in the Sharm el-Sheikh summit.
An international meeting on a ceasefire in Gaza is scheduled today in Sharm El-Sheikh,Egypt,with leaders from 22 countries attending. A spokesperson for the Egyptian presidential office stated that Donald Trump will co-chair the “Sharm El-Sheikh” summit alongside Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and other world leaders from more than 20 countries.
Meanwhile, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al Sudani previously informed Egypt and the United States that he would withdraw from the Sharm El-Sheikh summit if Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, attends discussions concerning Gaza.
A senior source also revealed that no official invitation for Netanyahu to attend this summit was issued by Egypt. Rather, it was President Trump who sought Netanyahu’s presence and made efforts to secure his participation through communications.
the source added that al Sudani has firmly told both Egypt and the United States that Iraq will exit the summit should Netanyahu be present, emphasizing iraq’s resolute stance on this matter.
