Trump: Israel-Hamas Agreement Holds; We Do Not Want World War III
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, U.S.President Donald Trump announced at a conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, that a comprehensive document regarding the agreement between Israel and Hamas will be signed. The issue of the Israeli prisoners’ bodies remains unresolved, and efforts are ongoing to locate them.
Trump continued by expressing his gratitude to Qatar’s government for its efforts, praising the country’s Emir as remarkable. He also thanked Turkey’s president, highlighting that Turkey has one of the world’s best armies and calling President Erdoğan an outstanding leader. Furthermore, he appreciated Egypt’s president for leading a nation with 6,000 years of civilization.
Without recalling the repeated breaches by Israeli occupiers in prior agreements, Trump claimed: “The agreement between Israel and Hamas will persist. Everything has progressed smoothly and unexpectedly well; everyone is pleased.” He described the Gaza accord as “the largest and most complex deal” and emphasized that “we do not want World War III.”
While signing the ceasefire memorandum in gaza, Trump reiterated previous assertions: “This peace has been reached after 3,000 years and is meant to endure.”
Al Jazeera reports that Donald Trump alongside Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani signed a comprehensive document on the Gaza agreement.
