Qatar’s Emir Expresses Satisfaction with Positive Outcomes of Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency via Al Jazeera, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar, stated that he hopes the Sharm El-Sheikh peace summit marks a starting point for further agreements in the future that fulfill the aspirations of our brothers in Gaza.
Expressing contentment with the results of the Sharm El-sheikh summit, he added that he hopes this meeting will assist in reaching a comprehensive, fair, and sustainable solution to the Palestinian issue.
The Emir also said he looks forward to all parties’ commitment to the joint understanding achieved for everyone’s benefit.
The Sharm el-Sheikh gathering in Egypt focused on ending Israel’s war against Gaza’s oppressed population.The meeting was hosted by Egypt’s Prime Minister and featured statements from several world leaders.
At this summit, U.S. President Donald Trump signed a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas despite key parties being absent from the ceremony.
