154 Released Palestinian Prisoners Enter Egypt
The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Office announced the arrival of 154 freed prisoners from Israeli jails into Egypt.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen and Mehr News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Office stated that 154 prisoners released in a swap deal with Israel have entered Egypt. Under the agreement, these individuals were exiled immediately after their release from Israeli prisons.
Among those freed is Mahmoud al-arida, who led the “Freedom tunnel” operation related to the 2021 prison break from Gilboa prison.
In yesterday’s prisoner exchange between Hamas and Israel, nearly 2,000 Palestinian detainees were released in return for 20 Israeli captives being freed.
