Moscow: Due to Lack of Alternatives, We Will Continue Operations Against Ukraine
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow is compelled to continue its special military operation against Kyiv because there are no other solutions to resolve the Ukraine issue.
Peskov responded to remarks by French President Emmanuel Macron, who accused Moscow of “military stubbornness” and warned that Russia would have to pay a price unless it “returns to the negotiating table.”
He stressed, “Russia is ready for a peaceful resolution [of the Ukraine issue]. Currently, Moscow continues its special military operation due to the absence of alternatives.”
The Russian diplomat added, “Russia will safeguard its interests and achieve its objectives by any means necessary.”
Russia has repeatedly stressed its preference for resolving the Ukraine crisis thru political and diplomatic means and ensuring equal and complete security for all European countries. Though,Kyiv’s regime,actively supported by the West,continues making excuses to reject a fair agreement.
