Gustav Wepetro to Trump: Selling Arms to Israel Is Complicity in Crime
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Colombian president Gustavo Petro sharply criticized the United States for supplying weapons to the Israeli regime amid its war against the oppressed people in the Gaza Strip. He described this action as “complicity” in crimes.
He emphasized that delivering arms to this regime, while Netanyahu commits genocide, is not something worthy of praise.
In response to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks yesterday at the knesset, where he claimed that these weapons are being used effectively, Petro questioned: ”What does ‘good use’ of weapons mean in Gaza?”
He further stated that these weapons have so far caused around 200,000 civilian injuries and approximately 70,000 deaths in Gaza.
This comes after Trump’s speech at the Knesset (the Israeli parliament), where he thanked Netanyahu and the Israeli regime for their adept use of American weaponry.
