Gaza Ceasefire Violations Continue; Tel Aviv Halves Humanitarian Aid
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Ma’an, just days after the official implementation of the Gaza ceasefire, Israel has violated its terms in multiple ways.
Reuters reports that Israel informed the United Nations it will allow only half of the agreed humanitarian aid into Gaza. Starting Wednesday, only 300 trucks carrying aid are permitted to enter instead of the 600 trucks originally agreed upon.
Moreover, reports indicate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered soldiers not to open the Rafah crossing today. These measures by Tel Aviv occur under various pretexts, including issues related to receiving bodies of captured Israeli soldiers.
Contrary to ceasefire provisions calling for a complete halt in hostilities, Israeli attacks against defenseless Palestinians in Gaza have persisted over recent days, resulting in several deaths and injuries.
