Top Palestinian Prisoners Released from Zionist Prisons + Names
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Mehr News Agency,Al Jazeera highlighted the release of Palestinian prisoners following a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and a prisoner exchange between resistance groups and Israel,introducing key figures among those freed.
The Prisoners and freed Affairs Commission, Palestinian Prisoners Club, and Prisoner Details Office released a list including 250 prisoners. Of these, 192 had been sentenced to life imprisonment, 25 carried heavy sentences, and 32 were held under administrative detention. Additionally, 1,718 prisoners from gaza captured after October 7, 2023 were also released.
Within the group of 250 individuals, 157 belonged to the Palestinian National Liberation Movement “Fatah,” 65 to Hamas, 16 to Islamic Jihad Movement in palestine, 11 to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and one prisoner was affiliated with the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP).
The prisoners with the longest sentences who were freed during this exchange include:
Nasri Ayed Hussein Asi, from Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem. Arrested on July 27, 2004; sentenced to eighteen life terms plus seventy years; member of hamas.
Mohammad Jamal Mohammad Aql, from Jenin city in northern West Bank. Arrested on December 2, 2002; sentenced to seventeen life terms; affiliated with Fatah.
Ahmad Adel Jaber Saada, from Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem. Arrested on april 1, 2003; sentenced to thirteen life terms; member of Hamas.
Imad Salah Abdul Fattah Qawasmeh, from Hebron city; arrested October 13, 2004; sentenced to sixteen life terms; former fighter with Hamas.
Mohammad Kamel khalil Imran, from Dora town south of Hebron in southern West bank. Detained since December 1 , 2002 ; given thirteen life sentences ; associated with Islamic Jihad Movement.
Riyadh Dakhlallah Ahmad Al-Amour, from Tuqu town south of Bethlehem in southern West Bank. Arrested May 7 , 2005 ; convicted on eleven life terms ; member of Fatah.
Majid Ismail Mohammad Masri, from Balata refugee camp near nablus in northern West Bank. Captured November 30 , 2002 ; carrying ten life sentences ; linked to Fatah.
Ezzeddin Khalid hussein Al-Hammamra, from Husan village west of Bethlehem city. Detained March 7 , 2004 ; serving nine life sentences ; part of Fatah movement.
Iiad Mohammad Ahmad Abu al-Rub (commonly spelled Iyad), hailing from Jalbun village near Jenin governorate . Held as November 24 , 2005 . Sentenced eight times consecutively Life imprisonment .Affiliated With islamic jihad movement palestine. ..
