Report on Journalists Killed in Israeli Regime Attacks
The Committee to Protect Journalists stated that the Israeli regime accounts for 95 percent of journalist fatalities in the middle East from October 7, 2023, to date.
In a statement, the committee condemned Israel’s repeated attacks on journalists as clear violations of international humanitarian law.
The committee called for accountability regarding crimes committed against journalists by this regime.
It also urged israel to allow international media representatives free and self-reliant access to Gaza in order to cover events on the ground without restriction.
According to media reports, Israeli attacks have killed 31 journalists in Yemen, six in Lebanon, and three in Iran.
on Tuesday, Gaza’s Government Details Office reported that following the death of Saleh Al-Jaafari, the total number of journalists killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has reached 255.
The office condemned these deliberate attacks against Palestinian journalists and demanded condemnation of such actions.
