Al-Qassam Hands Over Bodies of Two Israeli Prisoners to the Red Cross
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Shehab news agency, the Al-Qassam Brigades have delivered the bodies of two Israeli captives in Gaza City to the Red cross.
Al-Qassam announced minutes ago that it has fulfilled its commitment regarding the transfer of Israeli captives’ bodies.
The brigades emphasized that the resistance has honored all agreed terms, adding that it has handed over all living Israeli captives and corpses in its possession.
Al-Qassam also stated that recovering additional bodies from beneath rubble requires extensive efforts and specialized equipment, but they will continue striving to resolve this matter fully.
The Israeli newspaper Times of Israel previously claimed, citing sources, that Hamas informed intermediaries it plans to deliver four more captive bodies to Tel Aviv today, Wednesday.
This would bring the total number of transferred captive bodies to twelve.
Under a ceasefire agreement, 28 captive bodies are scheduled for transfer back to Israel. Yesterday, four more were handed over to the Red Cross.
Though, locating these captive remains under debris after two years as the Gaza war remains a major challenge. Analysts suggest Israel is exploiting this difficulty as a pretext to restrict humanitarian aid access into gaza.
