US Plans and Negotiates Deployment of International Security Force in Gaza

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, two senior advisers from former President Donald Trump’s administration have revealed that the US has begun planning to deploy an international security force inside Gaza to stabilize conditions in the enclave.
Reuters reports that one of Trump’s 20-point plans for Gaza included forming a US-led stabilization force. The united States has agreed to provide up to 200 personnel to support this international force without stationing them directly inside Gaza.
The two American officials said tensions remain high between Israeli forces and hamas militants in Gaza.
One official claimed: “What we are currently seeking is simply initial stabilization. The international stabilization forces are being formed.”
He added, speaking anonymously along with the other official, that discussions about supporting this security force include countries such as Indonesia, the United Arab emirates, Egypt, Qatar, and Azerbaijan.
The sources also noted that more than 20 US personnel are present in the region assisting with operational setup while fulfilling coordinative and supervisory roles.
One adviser said the goal is ”to utilize the capabilities of all regional partners willing to help and participate.” Another adviser asserted no residents of Gaza would be forced to leave the enclave.
This claim comes as Trump had previously praised a ceasefire plan for Gaza, stating: “We celebrated a historic deal in the Middle East ending years of suffering and conflict. It was remarkable-countries from across including some adversaries united backing this agreement on Gaza.”
He also mentioned Hamas’s ongoing search for bodies of deceased Israeli captives, saying some remains were found within tunnels.
Trump further warned Hamas: “We want Hamas to surrender their weapons; if they don’t do it voluntarily, we will do it ourselves.” He then asserted confidence by stating: “I think we will manage things well in Gaza – I see no prospect for direct US military intervention.”
