Yemen Appoints New Chief of Joint Forces Staff

The Chairman of Yemen’s‌ Supreme Political Council‌ has appointed Major General Youssef Hassan ⁢Al-Madani as‍ the new ‌Chief of the ⁣Joint Staff,‍ succeeding‌ the late martyr Muhammad Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari.

according to the ⁤English section ‍of webangah News Agency,⁢ citing⁢ Al-Masirah via ‌Mehr News Agency, the Chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council has issued a decree appointing Major General Youssef Hassan⁢ Ismail Al-Madani as ‍Chief ‍of the Joint Staff, replacing the late martyr‍ Muhammad ⁢Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari.

Article 1 ‍of ⁤decree number 25, dated December 30, 2025 (24 Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH), confirms that Major General Youssef Hassan Ismail Al-Madani will assume command​ as Chief‌ of ⁢Staff​ of Yemen’s Armed Forces and succeed martyr Major⁤ General ‌muhammad Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari.Article ⁤2 states this decree takes affect instantly upon issuance and will be published in ⁣official Yemeni newspapers.

Yemen’s Armed Forces announced today in a statement that Major General Muhammad Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari was martyred. They described his pure soul rising to ​heaven while fulfilling ⁤his jihadist⁢ and religious duties⁣ – honored among the great martyrs along‍ the path to Jerusalem.

The Armed Forces stressed that clashes with their ​enemy are not ​over. They affirmed that by God’s⁢ grace, they will deliver deterrent‍ punishment‍ for crimes committed by the Zionist enemy until Jerusalem ⁤is ⁤liberated and ⁢this ⁢regime is destroyed.
