Gaza Death Toll Nears 68,000 as Israel Continues Ceasefire Violations
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that in the past 24 hours, 29 bodies were transferred to hospitals in the Strip. Among them, 22 casualties were recently pulled from under rubble, three died from previous wounds, and four were killed by direct fire from occupying forces. Additionally, 10 people were injured during this period.
According to updated statistics, total fatalities due to Israeli aggression in Gaza now stand at 67,967, with injuries totaling 170,179.
Gaza health officials stated that since the ceasefire declaration on October 11, 2025, there have been 23 deaths and 122 injuries reported. Rescuers have recovered a total of 381 bodies from under debris.
The Ministry emphasized that many victims remain trapped beneath rubble and inside passageways were rescue teams cannot reach them.
This data comes as Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
In a recent breach of the truce, Nasser medical Complex confirmed two fatalities resulting from an Israeli drone strike targeting Palestinians in Abasan al-Kabira village east of Khan Younis.
Al-Awda hospital also reported four wounded after an Israeli drone attack near Al-bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
