Hamas Accuses Netanyahu of Delaying Ceasefire Agreement Implementation
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Al Jazeera, Hamas issued a statement condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks and threats to delay the opening of the Rafah crossing and reduce humanitarian aid deliveries. The statement described these actions as reflecting his fascist cabinet’s approach to punishing the Palestinian people in Gaza and manipulating their humanitarian situation.
The statement added that returning the bodies of Israeli captives may take time because some are buried in tunnels destroyed by Israeli forces, while others remain under rubble from buildings bombed and demolished by the occupiers.
Hamas emphasized that it has instantly handed over all captives’ bodies in its possession to the International Committee of the Red Cross. Recovering other bodies requires specialized equipment.
The movement affirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement, its implementation, and delivering all remaining bodies, while accusing Netanyahu of continued delays and non-compliance.
