Turkey and U.S. Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza, Syria, and Ukraine
Turkey and the United States foreign ministers spoke by phone about maintaining the ceasefire in Gaza, ensuring continuous humanitarian aid delivery to the enclave, and issues concerning Syria and Ukraine.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with U.S.Secretary of State Mark Rubio.
Sources within Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the discussion focused on steps to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza and guarantee uninterrupted humanitarian aid to the region.
The talks also covered matters related to implementing the statement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
The ministers reviewed developments in Syria, issues concerning negotiations on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, and also progress in the Russia-Ukraine war.
