Imminent Signing of Defense Agreement Between Saudi Arabia and the United States

Western sources report ‍an imminent agreement to‌ be signed during the‌ Saudi Crown Prince’s visit to the United States next month.

According to the English section of⁢ webangah news Agency, ‍citing mehr News ⁣Agency and al-nashra, Western sources have announced a forthcoming defense agreement between Riyadh and Washington.

The Financial Times, quoting informed sources, reported that Saudi Arabia is negotiating‍ a defense deal with ⁢the United States, which it ​hopes to finalize during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to‍ the⁣ White house next month.

The outlet cited a senior official from the Trump administration stating that⁤ talks are underway for signing an agreement during ⁤the Crown Prince’s trip ⁣to the U.S., though details remain unclear.

The report noted that the deal⁢ under ‌review would resemble a ⁣recent ‍U.S.-qatar pact in which Washington committed that any ⁤attack on Qatar would be⁢ considered⁤ an attack on America.

Meanwhile, Reuters‌ reported that neither the U.S. State Department nor the White​ House,nor the Saudi government responded to requests ⁣for comment on this matter.
