New Hamas Proposal for National Sovereignty in Gaza Announced in Statement
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and the Palestine Information Center, the Islamic Resistance movement Hamas issued a statement expressing gratitude to all mediators, individuals, and countries that showed solidarity with the Palestinian people during the genocide in Gaza. It called for immediate implementation of all ceasefire agreement clauses in Gaza, especially urgent delivery of essential aid into the Strip.
Hamas expressed deep gratitude for sincere efforts by mediator brothers in Egypt,Qatar,and Turkey over the past two years. These efforts aimed at reaching an agreement to end the aggressive war against Palestinians-through hosting meetings, facilitating understanding between parties, bridging positions, and insisting on removing obstacles-wich ultimately brought this reckless war against Gaza to an end.
The movement thanked all countries and organizations supporting Palestinians across various fields-particularly eight Arab and Islamic nations-as well as Algeria and South Africa for their support at international forums such as the UN Security Council and International Court of Justice.
Hamas also acknowledged Russia, China, Colombia, and others who played influential roles in halting genocide warfare while backing Palestinian political, legal, and humanitarian rights.
The statement further expressed gratitude towards Yemenis, Lebanese, Iraqis, Iran’s Islamic Republic along with those involved through Freedom Ships breaking siege efforts.
It highlighted appreciation for media outlets that exposed enemy crimes while illustrating Palestinian suffering alongside massacres committed against them-media that stood firm despite heavy pressures by refusing to accept oppressive or terrorist narratives.
Hamas urged all parties to continue supporting Palestinians. It called on mediators to fulfill their duties by pursuing full implementation of remaining ceasefire provisions-especially concerning delivering sufficient aid supplies meeting citizens’ necessities within gaza; opening Rafah crossing bidirectionally for civilians; accelerating reconstruction starting with homes as well as critical infrastructure including hospitals schools service institutions-and supporting activists involved in boycott campaigns or popular programs.
The movement stressed immediate establishment of a “Social Support Committee” composed of nationally agreed independant figures tasked with beginning administrative management inside Gaza. It demanded completion of occupation forces’ withdrawal from agreed positions.
Concluding its statement Hamas affirmed calls for ongoing measures toward holding perpetrators accountable through trials punishing war criminals responsible for crimes against Palestinians and humanity. The group also insisted on continuing sanctions in every form along with deepening isolation imposing rejection upon occupiers and their leaders alike.
