US Confirms Provision of Tomahawks to Ukraine
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, Axios reported based on sources that Donald Trump, the US president, expressed reluctance to provide Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The report states that Trump clearly emphasized his current priority is diplomacy. He believes supplying Tomahawks to Ukraine would overshadow diplomatic efforts.
During their White House meeting, Trump also told Zelensky that Washington itself needs its stock of Tomahawk missiles and other weapons it supplies to Kyiv.
