UNRWA: Israeli Regime Obstructs Aid Entry into Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Nashra website, Adnan Abu Hasna, spokesperson for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), told Sky news Arabia that Israel has not permitted UNRWA to deliver necessary aid into Gaza.
He explained that what aid does enter Gaza represents only one-third of the actual requirements and lacks variety.
Abu Hasna described Israel’s delay in allowing aid as ”extortion,” emphasizing that Israel must not link humanitarian deliveries to returning bodies of deceased captives. He stressed the urgent need for temporary shelters for displaced individuals and said UNRWA has plans in this regard.
He confirmed that all UNRWA operations in Gaza continue except for incoming essential aid shipments from abroad. Abu Hasna highlighted that medical services across Gaza have completely collapsed.
