Ansarallah: Al-Aqsa Storm Accelerated Collapse of Zionist Regime
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Hizam al-Asad, a member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, spoke to Al-Ahed website about the outcomes and implications of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation. He stated that October 7, 2023, marked a turning point for Israel as its military, security, and intelligence systems collapsed within hours. Without unlimited support from the United States and the West-and collusion from certain Arab states-the regime would have disintegrated.
Al-Asad added that the blessed Al-Aqsa Storm operation politically and militarily exposed Israel before the world in every respect. Today, he said, global opinion views Israel as a despised entity that must be isolated.
He emphasized that eight decades of efforts by Zionists to portray Jewish settlers in Palestine as oppressed victims were utterly shattered after genocide alongside massive bombings, destruction, killings, sieges, and starvation in Gaza revealed harsh realities.
“Thus,” al-Asad continued, “the criminal Zionist regime became isolated; its leaders now face prosecution in international courts. Anti-Zionist protests surged across Western countries demanding severance of diplomatic relations with this brutal and savage regime.”
Regarding what he termed “the collapse of the myth of an invincible army,” al-Asad said that Israel suffered severe blows across economic, social, security, military, and political spheres. Meaningful failures within its military intelligence and security frameworks-as well as societal structures-became apparent; its very survival is now under threat.
The Ansar Allah official stressed October 7 revealed “the lie” behind Israel’s supposed invincibility. He added every missile or drone attack launched by Yemen-along with Lebanon, iran or Iraq-acted like nails sealing Israel’s coffin. This eroded settlers’ confidence in their continued presence on occupied lands and accelerated reverse migration trends.
Hizam al-Asad highlighted how Israeli forces withdrew along parts of the Mediterranean coast while failing to break their full blockade facing south towards the Red Sea from naval assault attempts. all thes developments will hasten Jerusalem’s downfall process.
