Trump Opponents Attack U.S. Embassy in Colombia with Bows and Arrows + Video
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing France24,Carlos Fernando Galán,mayor of bogotá,reported that pro-Palestinian demonstrators assaulted the U.S. embassy in Colombia’s capital.
He described these supporters as “criminals” and said some attacked the embassy wearing hooded clothing and using incendiary materials. Four police officers were injured in the incident, sustaining wounds to their face, legs, and hands.
The Colombian Ministry of Defense released images showing chaos outside the Washington embassy. jimmy Moreno, spokesperson for an activist group calling itself the “People’s Association,” organized these protests to denounce U.S. President Donald Trump’s policies.
Moreno emphasized: “We have protested for our sovereignty and against American intervention-from Palestinian genocide to interference across Latin America and threats against Venezuela in the caribbean.”
This group has staged demonstrations at various locations throughout Bogotá as last monday without prior violence until now. Gustavo Petro, Colombia’s president and a supporter of Palestine, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that he has issued maximum alert orders regarding security at the U.S. embassy.
The organization publicly endorsed Petro’s stance supporting Palestine while calling on the government to establish an “anti-imperialist” front.
