Hamas Condemns Escalation of Israeli Regime Atrocities in West Bank
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Palestinian Shihab News Agency via Mehr News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a press statement condemning the intensifying crimes committed by Israel in the West Bank.
The statement said that increasing aggression by settlers and occupiers in the West Bank will not break our people’s will or force them from their land. Instead, it will fuel greater public anger and spread resistance throughout the West Bank in response to these escalating crimes and violations.
Hamas added that these continuous Israeli offenses in the West Bank-which come after two years of genocide in Gaza-will not intimidate Palestine’s patient people. On the contrary, they will harm both occupiers and settlers, making their dream of dominating the West Bank unattainable.
The statement concluded by noting that amid widespread support for settler crimes and occupation army actions from Israel’s far-right cabinet, Hamas urges all Palestinians to continue popular resistance movements. They must use full strength to confront settler attacks on villages, towns, and communities throughout the West Bank.
Local sources in the west Bank reported that early this morning Israeli occupation forces raided the home of Mohammad Bajahat al-Hallaq, an 11-year-old Palestinian child recently martyred, located in al-Rayeh village south of Hebron. The boy was fatally shot directly by Israeli soldiers two days ago.
Eyewitnesses stated that after surrounding his house, occupation forces searched it thoroughly and detained family members for prolonged questioning.
Simultaneously occurring today, Zionist settlers harassed Palestinians who were harvesting olives and prevented them from continuing their work.
Local sources also reported that under protection from occupation military forces, zionist settlers obstructed residents of Makhmas village north of occupied Jerusalem from harvesting their olive crops.
