UNRWA: Children in Gaza Have Been Unable to Attend School for Months
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that children in Gaza have been unable to attend school for an extended period.
The English section of webangah News Agency quoted Mehr News Agency citing al Arabiya, reporting that UNRWA declared today, Saturday, that more than 8,000 teachers are ready to help children return to education and resume school activities in the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA’s statement emphasized that it is the largest humanitarian institution in Gaza and must be allowed to operate without obstruction.
UNRWA also stated that children in Gaza have been unable to attend schools for a vrey long time.
The Israeli regime’s war on Gaza has resulted in approximately 68,000 deaths. Repeated attacks by this regime have destroyed infrastructures and most schools, preventing students from attending classes for nearly two years.
