Gaza Death Toll Reaches 68,116

According to the English ⁣section of webangah News Agency, citing Shehab News Agency, the Palestinian​ Ministry of Health in Gaza released a statement updating the latest numbers of fatalities and ⁣injuries resulting from Israeli military attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023.

the ministry reported that as of now, a total of 68,116⁢ people have​ been killed due ‍to Israeli strikes against Gaza as ​October ⁣7, 2023.

Additionally, it stated that 170,200 individuals have been wounded during this period.

The ministry‌ added that within ⁤the past 24 hours alone, bodies‍ of 29 martyrs were transferred​ to hospitals. Among these, 23 were recovered from beneath‍ rubble. Two died⁤ from severe injuries sustained in the attacks.⁤ Four others were directly ⁢targeted and killed‍ by Israeli⁢ forces. During this time frame, another 21 people⁣ sustained injuries.

The statement emphasized that thousands remain missing and trapped under debris across Gaza.

Since a‌ ceasefire ‌was implemented on ​October 11,2025-wich appears⁢ to‌ be an error requiring correction-the toll includes 27 deaths and 143 injuries reported during ⁢this ceasefire period.

The ⁣ministry further ‍noted that 404 bodies have been recovered⁢ from under rubble since the ceasefire began. Additionally,15 ​unidentified ⁣bodies handed over by Israeli forces bring the total transferred remains to 135.
