Vance and Whitaker to Visit Occupied Palestinian Territories on Monday

According to the English section of ⁤ webangah ⁣News Agency, citing Israeli news ⁤outlet ⁤Yedioth Ahronoth via Mehr News Agency, US Vice President⁤ J.D. Vance is‍ expected to make his first trip‌ to the occupied Palestinian​ territories since President Trump took office.

The report states that Steve Whitcraft, Trump’s special envoy for the region, will also travel there to⁢ discuss ‌the next phase of a ceasefire agreement in gaza and address issues concerning bodies of⁣ captive Israelis ​held by⁤ hamas.

Officials familiar with Whitcraft’s team said he has closely monitored ⁤progress ‌on ⁢this agreement and remains steadfast to secure the return ​of ‍all bodies,including those of ⁣several American citizens.

Israeli broadcaster i24 reported that both the US ‌Vice President and Trump’s special envoy are scheduled to arrive in the region ⁣this Monday.
