Putin Told Trump the Condition to End the Ukraine War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and The Washington post, two senior officials revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin outlined his terms for ending the conflict during last week’s phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump.
These sources saeid that Putin demanded Kyiv cede full control of the strategic Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine to Russia as a precondition for peace.
Trump previously described the call as “productive,” stating, “My phone conversation with President Putin was fruitful, and our success in the Middle East will help negotiations to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.”
He also announced plans to meet Putin in Hungary’s capital. The White House confirmed that a future meeting between Trump and Putin could take place in Budapest, with Putin expressing commitment to meet president Trump there.
