Hamas Responds to New Wave of Israeli Regime Attacks on Gaza
Izzat al-rishq, a prominent Hamas leader, reacted minutes ago to the resumption of Israeli attacks on Gaza following claims of ceasefire violations by the resistance. Speaking to webangah News Agency’s English section via the Palestinian Information Center and Mehr News Agency, al-Rishq stressed Hamas’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement. He asserted that it is the Israeli occupation regime that continues to violate the agreement and fabricates false excuses to justify its crimes.
Al-Rishq further stated that Prime minister Netanyahu’s attempts to shirk and deny his obligations are carried out under pressure from his extremist cabinet’s so-called terrorist coalition. These efforts aim at evading responsibility before mediators and guarantors of the agreement.
The Israeli army resumed airstrikes on Gaza hours ago after alleging an attack on one of its armored vehicles in Rafah.
Following reports claiming an explosion damaged this armored vehicle-with two Israeli soldiers killed and two wounded-Israeli Channel 14 announced that its air force targeted locations in Rafah in southern Gaza Strip and Jabalia in northern Gaza.
